Care Angels Homecare Ltd is a leading care organisation providing care and support services for vulnerable adults across the West Midlands.

Job Role

We are recruiting Senior Health Care Assistants in the Wolverhampton and Birmingham area to care for people who live in their own homes and Care Homes. Our client base is expanding rapidly, so there are plenty of hours available.

The role will include the following tasks:

• Personal Care i.e. washing, bathing, toileting etc
• Meal Preparation
• Medication support
• General Housekeeping
• Record Keeping

Main duties of the job include:

• Washing and bathing
• Use of bath aids
• Assisting the client with personal grooming e.g. shaving, washing hair etc.
• Mouth care including cleaning dentures.
• Assist the client to dress and undress.
• Pressure area and catheter care.
• Toileting including emptying of colostomy bag.
• Moving and handling.
• Making and changing of beds.
• Meal preparation.
• Any other duties within reason.

Eligibilities:

• DBS

• Right to Work in the UK

Person Specification

Previous Experience and Training

If you do not have previous experience in care, then you are still able to apply for this position as we provide an extensive training program for all successful applicants.

In addition to this, you will go through a period of shadowing with an experienced carer who will ensure that you can safely deliver the care required.

We also provide vocational training allowing you to gain NVQ qualifications in care whilst you work.
