Specialist support
Supported Living
Care and support for people in their own supported living accommodation, helping them live as independently as possible.

What this is
Supported living combines your own tenancy, provided by a housing provider or landlord, with care and support delivered by Care Angels.
Care Angels provides the care and support — we are not the landlord or housing provider.
Who might benefit
- People who live in, or are moving into, supported living accommodation
- People who want to live independently with the right level of personal support
How we help
- We provide personalised care and support within your supported living setting
- We work alongside your housing provider, who remains responsible for the accommodation itself
- We build a care plan around your goals for independent living
How care starts
- A conversation about your current or planned supported living arrangement
- An assessment to agree the care and support we will provide
Your assessment
- We assess the care and support needed within your supported living setting
- We clarify roles, confirming the housing provider is responsible for accommodation and we provide care and support
Family involvement
- Family and other professionals, such as social workers, can be involved in planning
Common questions
Is Care Angels my landlord in supported living?
No. Your housing is provided by your landlord or housing provider; Care Angels provides the care and support only.
How is supported living different from a care home?
In supported living you have your own tenancy and greater independence, with care and support provided around your needs, rather than living within a residential care setting.
